Yesterday we drove from Chichi to Panahachel, then took a small boat to San Pedro; where we will be spending the last two full days of our trip before heading home. (SP is the mini 'vacation' part of our adventure. Time to relax! The boat ride over. Water, water and more water. Out our front door. We're maybe 20 yards from the lake. Not bad for 100Q ($10-ish) a night.

We spent yesterday at the Chichi Sunday market buying little Guatemalan trinkets for Friendship Week, the GFSF's biggest yearly fundraiser. The market was crazy busy; tourist buses drive in from other destinations (like Antigua) to haggle and shop. It was a much different experience than the quiet country side of Momos.
