Saturday, 1 September 2012. Successful parenting rests on the twin foundations of gentle-love and firm-love. Firm-love is being able to say ‘no and set clear limits while remaining loving. I believe every home should have a form of discipline. The bible says that we should train up our children in the way that they should go and when they are old they won’t depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).
