May 27, 2016. The day was beautiful, although cloudy with the threat of rain at any time, it wasn’t too hot or cold. We breakfasted well on bread and jam and doughnuts washed down with passion fruit juice and lemongrass tea. Then we were off to Palmerium Reserve to see the lemurs! It looked absolutely idylic as we approached the white sandy beach with the waves of the lake lapping against the wooden jetty.
