Ghana Hall of Shame: June 2010
http://ghanahallofshame.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Ghana Hall of Shame. Saturday, June 12, 2010. Work isn't "work" when you enjoy what you do. It isn't "work" when you are highly productive without external force. We should encourage each other to get into fields we are passionate about, doing things we enjoy doing. Ghana Hall of Shame. Monday, June 7, 2010. Our neighbours' past could be our future. If their past was bad, it will do us a lot of good to understand how it got that bad. I recently read about Ken Saro-Wira. Ghana Hall of Shame. Kajsa H. A.

Ghana Hall of Shame: November 2010
http://ghanahallofshame.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Ghana Hall of Shame. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. I finally did it! I read G.I.'s post. And bowed my head in shame. Considering what I know and what my family went through, I couldn't believe I was not a bone marrow donor. I made it a priority and registered here. If you live in the U.S., I urge you to take a few minutes to read about the National Bone Marrow program. And join the registry. Ghana Hall of Shame. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ghana Hall of Shame: Electricity for all!!
http://ghanahallofshame.blogspot.com/2010/12/electricity-for-all.html
Ghana Hall of Shame. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Now THAT would be nice. Electricity for all communities in Ghana. Electricity, meaning 24/7 Electricity right? Because there would be no sense in proclaiming "drinks are on me" at the bar and then I proceeding to serve 2 drops per patron. Well, I wasn't in Keta but I read that Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa, Deputy Minister of Information is promising electricity for all in a few months. AND we will all be connected to the national grid. Did you really say that?

Kwaku Spider: Cannabis- Guest Writer Jack Jones Jnr
http://asantewarrior.blogspot.com/2010/08/cannabis.html
Sunday, August 8, 2010. Cannabis- Guest Writer Jack Jones Jnr. Marijuana use in Ghana even though illegal is five times the world average. People use marijuana in Ghana more than in the Netherlands. Thanks to "Visine" and little tricks such as the old towel under the bathroom door the kids leave no traces or evidence of their drug use. To the parents, everything seems perfectly normal. The plants roots go even deeper. In my research, i came across a number of articles and. Testimonies' by tourists about ...

Road to an MBA: turning point
http://brightgoestob-school.blogspot.com/2010/10/turning-point.html
Road to an MBA. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. I've got my head in the game. Spurned this offer and trusted a dream that might never be. Taking a risk is part of life but does it make sense to forgo 'pick me' 'pick me' and wait for the right thing? However, I know this will be a turning point around which lots of nice /sad stories will come. Definitely mark this date. 5th October, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Altius Tendo: The Musician
http://altiustendo.blogspot.com/2009/09/musician.html
The ruminations, discoveries, rantings, and loves of a lost soul just trying to find her way in the world. The worst part was hearing his voice because it felt like coming home. Frankly, I was horrified. This is somebody I'm supposedly getting over and the sound of his voice alone made me happy. Keep in mind I hadn't even escaped fully from his voice because I kept hearing his song everywhere I went. Barbecue? They'd play his damn song. On the bus? Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I say go for it! I know it ...

The Beautiful Game: When The Saints Go Marching In......
http://globularleather.blogspot.com/2010/02/all-saints-day.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. When The Saints Go Marching In. A week is a long time in football indeed. I mean in either proper football or American football. With the deluge of high profile events since I last posted here, it’d seem like eternity but it’s only been just over a week. John Terry has lost his England captaincy. I don’t know and I don’t care. All I care about is that it worked, and the Saints defied the experts to thump the Colts 31-17, with this touchdown. As the cherry on top. Many ways, but...

Road to an MBA: GMAT vs GRE
http://brightgoestob-school.blogspot.com/2010/09/gmat-vs-gre.html
Road to an MBA. Saturday, September 25, 2010. By all means write the GRE if you can memorize words, their synonyms and antonyms and can juggle your numbers fairly. The GMAT is for you if you are highly analytical. Even the Verbal test needs an analytical mind. I want to write the GRE on the back of the teaching I'm doing now, but I have to know about 500 words. If only I could gain another 100 points on the GMAT! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Adventures from the Bedrooms of African Women.

Road to an MBA: October 2010
http://brightgoestob-school.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Road to an MBA. Sunday, October 10, 2010. No GMAT in Ghana? I just got an SOS call from a friend that he couldn’t find a test centre in Ghana to take the GMAT. I thought that was odd, because a few weeks back another friend took the GMAT at SiliconPro. The only test centre in Ghana for many years). I only hoped it wasn’t true. Same thing happened last year:. I met a lady at a Columbia MBA session in Accra whose scheduled test date had been canceled because SiliconPro had shut down for renovation. I've be...
