About Us / How We Work. Ghana Together partners with Western Heritage Home (WHH), a Ghanaian-registered NGO (non-profit) led and staffed by Ghanaians. WHH is based in Axim, Ghana, a town of about 25,000 situated on the Atlantic Ocean, in the Western Region of Ghana Nzema District. Either we or they have potential project ideas. Together we refine them to figure out if they are do-able and if so, how to proceed. Then we get to work both here in the US and in Ghana. This intimately collaborative model.
