On Existence: Meaning
http://universalconsciousness.blogspot.com/2005/05/meaning.html
Monday, May 16, 2005. What is the meaning of life? What is the meaning of meaning? Is there a meaning? If there is, who decides what that meaning is? These are questions that have been pondered by philosophers for millennia, and they are some of the most important questions a human being can ask. I have also contemplated these questions, and what follows is my best attempt at some answers. That is to say, what can meaning be contrasted to, so that it can be distinguished from non-meaning? I have had many...

On Existence: Student-Teacher Relationships

Wednesday, February 02, 2005. Posted by Mime Narrator at 11:43 PM. Must say I definitely agree with you. I also find it interesting that teacher's who say that they "care" and "love" their students the most are actually the most authoritarian. Some shit I wrote. On Speaking with God. Do The Meditation Rock. Paranoia while listening to Terry Riley. I am part of the energy dance. Why am I me? Guerilla Hygenics and Dental Warfare.

Monday, April 25, 2005. The Fallacy of Intelligent Design. The premise of Intelligent Design is that the universe is so unimaginably complex and perfect that it must have been created by an intelligent designer. The classic analogy used in this argument is that of the watch and the watchmaker. William Paley wrote in his book, Natural Theology:. Why is it not as admissible in the second case, as in the first (1)? The first step in determining irreducible complexity is to specify both the function of the s...

Friday, October 22, 2004. I am part of the energy dance. I think I understand better now. My consciousness is really just another part of the energy dance. Just like the sky is blue I view the world from here. I am here. There's no reason for it, it just happens. Posted by Mime Narrator at 2:43 AM. Why am I me? Maybe nobody but me is conscious? Posted by Mime Narrator at 1:10 AM. Tuesday, October 19, 2004. What kind of a phrase is control your self? Isn't it my self? So my self is controlling it self?

On Existence: Where am I?
http://universalconsciousness.blogspot.com/2005/09/where-am-i.html
Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Only senses exist. Sense is the wrong word. Sense implies a sensor. This is wrong. Nobody is doing the sensing, because the supposed sensor is nothing but senses. Sight, sound, and all the rest are just the splitting of suchness. Thou art that! Posted by Mime Narrator at 11:34 PM. Where does the soul fit in? I don't think it does. You are everywhere, and we are nowhere. The Fallacy of Intelligent Design. The unexamined life is not worth living. Life Kills us all.

Sunday, November 07, 2004. I see it perfectly clearly. Consider the laws of physics. Everything in the universe holds to them. I certainly do. BUT! What defines the laws of physics? It is clearly what I do that defines them. It is what everything does but me included. So then I am God! So is everyone else of course but really its ME! This is the purpose of the koans such as "What is the Buddha? Even the dust swirls in the wind. Even the dust defines the laws of physics. Even the dust is God! A friend sai...

Sunday, September 19, 2004. What does it feel like to make a choice? People talk about free will a lot and how it feels like they can make their own decisions and how can that be with what we know about physics. I think the first premise is wrong. It doesn't feel like we can make our own decisions. Its easy to tell this, just try to think of what it feels like to make a choice. You don't know do you? Posted by Mime Narrator at 6:38 PM. Wednesday, September 15, 2004. Its all right now! Life Kills us all.

Thursday, May 19, 2005. The Irony of the Nuclear Option. An important aspect of the debate over the nuclear option that is rarely addressed in the media is its questionable legality. If the majority chooses to abolish the judicial filibuster, as is becoming increasingly likely, the process would look something like this. A simple majority would then be all that would be required to uphold the ruling. Nowhere in the rules are judicial filibusters prohibited. Posted by Mime Narrator @ 10:36 PM. Guerilla Hy...
