09/09/09: fds cultural
http://090909brit.blogspot.com/2009/11/fds-cultural.html

3 Ways We Are Destroying Our World. – Bekah Shambrook
https://bekahshambrook.wordpress.com/2015/04/20/3-ways-we-are-destroying-our-world
3 Ways We Are Destroying Our World. Coming up on the 22nd April 2015. We should all be realising what we are doing to this planet, our home. It may not seem like a big deal, losing some trees here, some more there. But this is so much bigger. We are losing trees at the rate of 40 football pitches every minute. Think about that, I mean really, think about it. Trees are the lifeblood of the world, we breath the oxygen they produce, trees clear our air, can we really cope without them? Photo by: Len Radin.

Thought of the day. Dec 12, 2009. A few lessons from NaBloPoMo. I didn’t do very well at NaBloPoMo. I lasted for about two weeks, posting a short piece every day, but then I hit a wall. It wasn’t that I couldn’t find anything good enough to write about, it was simply a matter of time. I’m not really sure why I attempted the project in the first place, I think I was just curious to see if I’d learn anything. In fact, I really have. Nov 23, 2009. A week of posts in one. So, I’m behind on NaBloPoMo, R...

big trouble in little karlskrona: January 2010

Sunday, January 24, 2010. We were on the run the whole time, but we got a chance to see the. Art project by Angela Palmer. It a very cool project trying to raise awareness about deforestation and climate change. The roots and stumps are massive. Below is my friend Stephanie walking by one. There were art projects all over the city. Some were better than others, but all together it was amazing to see so many people come together to show that they care through different mediums. This was certainly a highli...

https://lauranicoleince.wordpress.com/2012/02/28/the-pitt-rivers-museum-in-oxford
Creativity is a luxury. The Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. So excited for the weekend to visit this museum which will help my understanding of historical artifacts as well as sparking off some interesting ideas for my studio for this Project and hopefully even my 3rd year Studio work. WHATS ALSO GOING TO BE GOING ON THROUGHOUT MY VISIT THIS WEEKEND, IS A NUMBER OF EXHIBITIONS. THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR I FIND INTERESTING AND RELATES BACK TO MY STUDIO WORK ‘THE SAD SEA OF TREES’. Extended until 31 July 2012.
