Textiles are at the basis of my work and I put a lot of attention to quality. I try to select the best textile, rigorously Made in Italy. The sartorial jacket must be crafted with high quality textiles. Those are composed by exquisite natural fiber and, in order to let the garment last through the time, it is necessary to follow a few simple precautions. The first and foundamental one is not to wash the garment in a domestic washing machine but to always rely on a specialised and trusted laundrette. The second on, and no less important, is to read and follow the washing instructions written on the label sewn on the inside.

Marco Bassani was born in Milan in 1962 and, after graduating from Liceo Scientifico (high school), he enrolled at the faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. Those were the early '80s and Milan was preparing to become the world's fashion capital. Capable of great artistic tendencies, he then decided to leave university in order to express his creativity in the clothing field.
