The Hardins: Annual Halloween Post
http://thehardinfamilyband.blogspot.com/2010/11/annual-halloween-post.html
Just a personal family blog to let our loved ones know how we are doing. And then comment about it. Thursday, November 4, 2010. Can you believe it's only been ONE WHOLE YEAR since I posted last? Well, what better time to start up again, right? The kids had a blast with Halloween. Gage was a race car driver, a dragon, and Buzz Lightyear. Alex was a cowboy. The second time he wore his costume, he requested a mustache. Now that was funny. I cannot believe how grown up the boys are! Is she really 3?

The Blankinship Family: May 2010
http://theblankinshipfamily.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. I grew bell peppers and jalapenos in my earthbox this spring for. Just such a day as this! I'm making jalapeno jelly! The fruits of my "labor! I actually had to pick the bell peppers last week and we've been eating them. There were 15 bell peppers and are more still growing. Double double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble! Bring on the ham! Friday, May 14, 2010. In her soccer gear. We went out with Paul, Lori and Andrew on Paul's new boat. And what a boat it is!

The Hardins: Helping the Helpless
http://thehardinfamilyband.blogspot.com/2009/10/helping-helpless.html
Just a personal family blog to let our loved ones know how we are doing. And then comment about it. Friday, October 9, 2009. A month or so ago Lisa was taking Alex to Sam's Club when they had to stop at the light at Memorial and Penn. Seeing the homeless guy standing in the hot weather holding his cardboard sign Lisa asked Alex if they should help that man or not. Alex's reply was, "No mom. He can hold his own sign.". The Hardins: April 2009
http://thehardinfamilyband.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Just a personal family blog to let our loved ones know how we are doing. And then comment about it. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. It's been too long! Has it really been son long since I posted last? What has been going on? Hmm Let me think.Alex has kept us busy challenging David and I to renew our reliance on the Lord for patience and our reliance on authors (and years of child development studies) for learning to live with a "strong willed child". As you can see, we no longer need to train a retriever. Happy...

The Blankinship Family: Fun with Reed and Cass
http://theblankinshipfamily.blogspot.com/2010/11/fun-with-reed-and-cass.html
Thursday, November 4, 2010. Fun with Reed and Cass. Alas, the whole of October passed without a picture or a word posted to the blog. So, I feel compelled to prove that we have actually been enjoying all that Florida has to offer. Take, for example, this lovely first photo from Oscar Scherer State Park. Yes, we went swimming. Hot (a very key word) on the trail of the elusive Florida Scrub Jay. We did, in fact, get a great look at one. Very pretty bird. Camping a Fort Desoto. Very fun. God has given me an...

http://thehardinfamilyband.blogspot.com/2009/11/happy-halloween.html
Just a personal family blog to let our loved ones know how we are doing. And then comment about it. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Alex and his cousin, Caleb, dressed as "Optimus Prime" and "Bumble Bee" Transformers in the weeks before Halloween. They had way too much fun in these costumes. Not that I minded. It was tons of fun. We obviously love Halloween around here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Seeing trains, fell in a bucket, reading Peter Rabbit. Happy 3rd Birthday, Owen Pete! The H - Blizzle.

The Blankinship Family: August 2010
http://theblankinshipfamily.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 23, 2010. The Agony and the Ecstasy. Who is agonizing over school? You ask. One word - Reed. But he has enough wisdom in his 8 years to know that you still have to smile for the first day of school picture! And the ecstatic.why Miss Cassidy! She has been counting down the days until kindergarten started. I am praying that her expectations are going to be met! Ready to face the rainy drive to school on the first day of school. Even though we can't wear pink clothes to school, we have managed.

The Blankinship Family: October 2009
http://theblankinshipfamily.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 24, 2009. We took the kids to the downtown Palmetto Halloween festival last night. They got to dress up in costumes, play games, trick or treat, get their faces painted and.IT WAS FREE! Now that speaks to me! And, we live in Florida, so it was 85 degrees and humid. So there. And now I have to go fix supper. All in all, a good Saturday. Here they are in front of the pirate ship. Yes, it was Reed's favorite attraction. No, that is not a storm trooper Bobble head.its Reed. She had a great ...
