THE GIANT ROCK STORY. As told by GEORGE W. VAN TASSEL. When I came out here in 1947, I became a close friend of Charlie Reche. Later, I bought Charlie's property, which was known as Reche's Wells. The Indians assembled for their meetings here for up to three days at a time.
