田鱉 埤塘 谷津田
去年，趁著執行高公局計畫，觀察家公司把通霄苑裡一帶的埤塘篩選踏查了一遍，又發現了幾處印度大田鱉的棲地，很讓人高興。從踏查的上百處埤塘的棲地紀錄來看，有些棲地因子可能是會影響大田鱉是否利用的關鍵，譬如包括大型魚類和可供產卵的挺水枝條的有無等等(這兩個因子又都跟水位變化有關)。我們也規劃執行了一些後續調查和棲地試驗。 今年很乾，田鱉池一直等到五月初下了雨，最低窪處才有了一層薄薄的淺水，其他埤塘也一樣。 我們四月再做了一次埤塘踏查，發現可能有七成的埤塘都乾掉了，那極少數還沒乾掉，棲地環境又符合大田鱉需求的埤塘，自然就成為大田鱉僅存的棲息和繁殖環境。 去找個新家吧，不然就是化作春泥供養接下來要種下的青綠秧苗囉，感謝啊！ 今年和去年從田土中跑出來的小生物組成上似乎都有很大的不同，除了都有一些常見的蟋蟀蝗蟲外，去年踩在耕耘過的田土中發現最多的幾種生物今年似乎都沒看見(可惜去年似乎沒有詳實紀錄)，今天幫著阿伯整平田土時則是看到超多的雞母蟲，而且是長度超過5公分的大傢伙。 帶了幾隻幼蟲回家飼養，應該再幾個月就可以知道他們是誰了，期待。 感謝伯公保佑，田鱉米風調雨順慶豐收，更獲得 綠保標章. 1 每穀 5200 元.
