Pistes seem to have snow on them, trees, chalets, roads have no snow at all. While I’m sure we are going to have a great holiday I am a little concerned that the skiing itself might be pretty thin. 08:00 – Back to bed. Make coffee by straining threw kitchen towel. Lovely? 13:30 – Back for lunch, nap, play. Some Finnish person shouts back, Olly rushes back inside.

December 31, 2009. Xmas 2009: Flumserberg: Day 3. At the bottom of the slope there was another restaurant, and it seemed that after our ordeal (slight overstatement, but only very slight. Around 6:00 we headed down to the hotel for another session in the hot tub. Tonight was New Year’s Eve, so we joined the communal dining area for hot pot. January 3, 2010. Xmas 2009: Denouement: Return To Honkers. Another early start, another travel day. I had all the bags ready to go. I had the children’s clothes ready to go. I had a taxi arriving at 6:00. I was surely cutting it fine, but after all the moaning Katy had done, I thought it best to make sure that the children got as much sleep as possible before setting off on their long flight back home. 6:15am Alarm goes.
