JJ and B: September 2009
http://joelandjackie.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 17, 2009. It was a big day at our house yesterday. Joel, Blythe and I were playing before Joel left for school. Joel had Blythe by the hands while she balanced on her feet facing me and he said "walk to mommy," and let go of her hands. So,. She walked to mommy! She hit a big milestone, but I think she's going to wait a bit longer to really walk on her own. I could be surprised though. that's how this year has been. I absolutely love being her mom! Burkhart's Bucket: November 2009
http://burkhartbucket.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. The day after Thanksgiving Lyle and I went for a beautiful hike above the Pupukea. Boy Scout Camp. It felt like we were on top of the world, or at least the top of Hawai'i. It is always hazy because of the high humidity so it's hard to see the ocean in this picture, but it is right there under the clouds! We were above the rain forest. Canopy and it was so impressive. Sacrament Meetings in Kahuku, Hawai'i. Today was no exception. We had three missionaries speak! The bishop took...

http://burkhartbucket.blogspot.com/2009/03/wedding-bells-maren-and-james.html
Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Wedding Bells: Maren and James. Lyle's niece, Maren Burkhart was married 28 Feb 2009 to James Acorn. Lyle and I drove our little Honda Fit for the third time in so many months to Riverside, CA loaded with supplies to cater the reception. It was held at the Flabob Airport in a little airplane hanger! I really need to update my blog. I would just rather be sewing. LOL I love making quilts and I am so busy I rarely get to do it. Love Deanna. May 13, 2009 at 11:01 AM.

Burkhart's Bucket: December 2009
http://burkhartbucket.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 27, 2009. Christmas in Hawai'i is beautiful. December brings big waves and beautiful sunsets. The surf just pounds the beaches all the time. At night it sounds like we are in a jumbo jet with the engines going! We can tell how high the surf will be in the morning by the volume of the ocean from our room. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Burkhart's Bucket: Kayaking Freaks
http://burkhartbucket.blogspot.com/2009/03/lyle-and-i-decided-to-do-something.html
Wednesday, March 4, 2009. I told the Relief Society funeral committee to be on stand-by. Lyle insisted that he was not close to anything, but he could not see his own face! That sunday Noah told me to hang on to the side of the pool and practice rolling up, but I only got really good at ditching the kayak and giving myself lovely bruises up and down my legs. Lyle is working really hard, but hip action and back-bends are not his forte! I'm counting on that. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Burkhart's Bucket: August 2008
http://burkhartbucket.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2008. Final three weeks in Alaska 2008. It's hard to know where to start when blogging for the first time. I would like to use my blog as a journal. Exercise, plus keep tabs with family and friends. So, here goes! For the past week my friend Jane Babcock. Has been in Alaska with me. She took a chance on spending a week with me knowing me well enough (we served in our Stake Relief Society. For 7 years together) to know that she would be sacrificing her solitude for my constant babbling.
