孟加拉, 除了地震、暴雨洪水、廉價成衣勞工 人口密度是全世界最高，醫療資源卻是嚴重不足，近兩千萬人口的地區只有一個兒童眼科中心。 所幸疼愛她的姑婆 Pema Dolma Tamang 遇上了奧比斯的救盲專案，讓Manika現在得以重見光明. 奧比斯基金會邀請您 分享看見 ， 加入這場愛的行動. 有鑑於此，國際奧比斯 ORBIS International 自1982年成立後，即透過眼科義診、醫護人員培訓，全力在開發中國家預防、治療各種致盲眼疾、讓品質良好的視力保健更為普及 為了跨國義診與醫護人員教學之需，打造了全球唯一的眼科飛機醫院，透過動手實作的醫療援助行動與訓練、與各國的醫療機構建立夥伴關係，提供防盲和救盲的醫療援助行動，防範 可避免 之眼盲。 為了積極地防治兒童失明，奧比斯承諾，將於2015年前，為開發中國家籌設100所兒童眼科中心，並參與聯合國 願景2020 看得見的權利 Vision 2020: The Right to Sight 救盲計畫，致力於西元2020年前，消弭 可預防 的失明。 奧比斯官網 www.orbis.org.

Gift of Sight Fishkill. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Our day started at the Diner I-84 where we all happily sacrificed and artery. We opened the doors and walked the red carpet to dessert heaven, AKA pastry display. After breakfast we jumped back in the caravan of cars and were off to day 2 of production where we collectively manufactured 158 pairs of mission ready glasses in 4 hours.
