The facilitator and creator of these courses has passed the PTTLS Certificate which gives her a licence to teach and is also a fully trained Laughter Yoga Facilitator and artist. She has 4 years Youth work experience and has experience working with a variety of client groups including those with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, elderly people and young people including children. All volunteers have enhanced CRB Checks. 1st Thursday of the Month. 163;5 Per person.

What IS Laughter Yoga? Laughter Yoga is a combination of Laughter Exercises with Yogic Breathing (pranayama), so that you increase the amount of oxygen in your body whilst being playful resulting in you feeling more healthy, energised and alive. This actually changes the physiology of your body so that you start to feel happier. The first laughter club started way back in 1995 by Dr Madan Katarina with 5 people in Mumbia. Now there are over 6,000 clubs in over 60 Countries!

Tracy Shave trained as a Laughter Yoga Leader back in 2010 with the Laughter Network. She had previously researched and written an article about Laughter and the medical benefits in the magazine she produced for Mental Health organisation Involving Essex, in her role as PR and Marketing Lead, and as part of her quest to find better ways than pills to enhance her mood, and well-. Tracy is a natural creative thinker and problem solver.

2012 - a year to celebrate. Friday, 18 May 2012. Smile, laugh and play! A year ago would I have considered attending a “Creative Giggle Workshop”? I am fairly sure that I would not! I am nearly half way through my year of celebrating my half century and saying “yes” when I would have said “no” before, though, so guess what happened? We were nearly all women and no-one was very young, probably very few if any of us younger than 40. I have to say, when I describe what we did it all sounds rather lightweight.

With years of PR and Communication experience we have organised Make it Mental Health for world mental health day two years running, Mental Health Action Week and Autistic Awareness Day, in High Chelmer Shopping Centre Chelmsford, We also launched Stand Up 4 Wheels and have stickers in 500 buses all over Essex to raise awareness of Special Needs Buggies. We no longer run awareness campaigns throughout the year but would be happy to help in partnership with others. Working with YOUNG PEOPLE.
