Dimecres, de juliol 13, 2005. Esperan al Camp Base a que el temps millori. Actualment tots es troben al Camp Base esperant que el temps millori. S’esperen que tinguin uns dies de temps estable, sense precipitacions i intentaran fer ja l’atac al cim. Si tot va bé, el pròxim diumenge estaran ja al Camp 2 a 6500 metres i pocs dies després al Camp 3 a 7000 metres. Foto de grup de l'expedició hilarienca (a l'esquerra). Amb les altres expedicions. Divendres, de juliol 08, 2005. Ferran Rotllant en repòs. Dijous passat, Alfons Gaston i Andreu Vidal, varen portar part de material fins a mitja Banana a 6400 metres d’alçada, lloc on varen plantar una tenda per deixar-hi part de l’equip. No varen poder seguir més amunt per culpa del mal temps, ja que a cada pas que feien s’enfonsaven dins la neu tova acabada de caure. Divendres, de juliol 22, 2005. Últim intent d'accés al cim. Ahir dijous, l’expedició va intentar tornar a fer el cim després de què la matinada de dimecres avortessin l’atac final. Varen sortir del Camp III a les 10 de la nit, però varen haver de recular altre cop al Camp Base, on son ara, per l’estat de la neu i de les possibles allaus que cauen de les muntanyes del Karakòrum. Divendres, de juliol 15, 2005. Apunt abandondar definitivament el Camp Base. Tots estan apunt per abandonar el Camp Base aquesta matina cap a les 3 del matí (les nostres 12h) per començar a fer l’atac al cim. Esperen poder marxar ja que els torna a caure una tempesta de neu. Segurament la nit de diumenge a dilluns, arribaran al Camp II i intentaran localitzar i desenterrar de la neu la tenda que ja varen muntar dies enrera part de l’expedició a més de 6400 metres. 4:03 p. m. Estem contents dels ànims.
