To celebrate the ending of Kaeta's first year in school coming up on the 4th of June. Gulf Shores happens to be about half way to Atlanta, so we invited the Kellys to join us for a repeat of our 2006 Destin vacation. We stayed at the Turquoise Place Resort. View from balcony was unbeatable! Beach had some interesting features.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011. He checked the literature about her syndrome, and as far as he could see, there wasn't anything that said it was related to her WHS. Dr. Carey had the same sentiment last time I spoke with him. It is a new mystery for Clara and her docs. I am trying to think positive. Clara has always been trooper and taken all that has been thrown at her. So for now we wait to see what is going to happen and pray for the best, what ever that may be. Posted by Patti Smith. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. She's growing too fast! My baby is growing way too fast! The other thing she started doing this week is reaching up to play with her toys on her play mat. She is reaching up with both hands and spinning the ball. It is so fun to watch her explore and discover. I plan on taking full advantage of just watching her learn and discover. If my house isn't perfect, that's okay. I will never have this time back - and it is so magical! I'm so glad she has blessed my life!

You can't see Makayla's hair cut very well since we put a braid in it to keep it out of her face for gymnastics. Saturday, October 10, 2009. One day when I was trying to get my work done, I'd left Holden to play quietly, by himself. Now I know any of you with 2 year old boys are just shaking your heads about now. Well, he got way too quiet, so I went to investigate. This is what I found:. He did fairly well at getting his fingernails (and a little of the skin around it.) He got a little on his shirt, but other than that, he was very quiet and I didn't have a mess to clean up. Saturday, April 24, 2010. Our last day at Disneyland, we decided that we would get some family pictures to end our trip. We didn't do them when we got there because it was rainy the first day. In front of Walt Disney and Mickey. Minnie, Makayla, Patti and Clara. We hadn't seen Minnie, so we had to go find her. Holden driving the Toon Town Trolley. Makayla and Kiri on the Mickey Head bench.
