Wednesday, July 13, 2011. I did exactly what I didn't want to do. I had a meltdown. Luckily it wasn't in front of the patient). It was a very chaotic day- and I didn't have one specific nurse staying with me and "orienting" me. A few different nurses would pop in occasionally and check on me to see if I was still alive. And I was doing ok, up until the point where the baby tanked. Ok, the baby hadn't tanked. Completely, I'd seen babies do this before, but this was my first time alone. I'll keep you posted.

Sunday, July 25, 2010. North Carolina Part 1. We finally made it to North Carolina! It was beautiful. We actually got there a few days early so we went to this neat little theme park, a bit like lagoon, called the Carowinds. Despite the heat and the humidity, we still had fun. Afterwards, we went to our BEACH HOUSE! It was such a fun week to spend with my family. Good times, and plenty of pictures. The half is very important. Yes, I bet you wish you were here with us too! K is not so happy to be here.
