NIC IT department have just introduced Webroot AntiSpam and Archiving software in order to make it easier for everyone to take care of their emails. All emails will be automatically archived offsite and stored indefinatley. Emails will only be kept in your inbox for a period of twelve months after which the only copy will be on the archive server. We have also introduced a system of two broadband lines, one with BT and one with Bethere which automatically switch should there be a failure on either line.

A question about SCREENSAVERS. I have been thinking about creating one or two screensavers featuring my recent artworks. However, I’m not entirely sure that people still actually USE screensavers 🙂 I know that I don’t. If I’m not actually doing stuff on my PC, then I’ll put it on Sleep to save energy so it’s never left inactive long enough for a screensaver to kick in. But, some may still use them, like them, want them….whatever, so I will ask the question. Do you still use Screensavers on PC/Laptop?
