We are so lucky that winter is not here yet! It seems like it may never come, but I am sure it is on its' way! But reports show not this week anyway! Cheryl * Erik * Logan * Mason. Monday, January 5, 2009. We started out with putting up our christmas tree. It's a little tree that we have had since St. George, but it fits great in our little area. I put up the tree while Logan and Erik played of course. That seems to be the dad's duty a lot of the time! Anyway, then came my 29th birthday! Then came all the christmas festivities. Layton lights, ogden lights and temple lights! And of course Santa Claus! Christmas eve was at my aunt and uncle Duehlmeir's!

Their clothing were very very simple and plain, the kids were dirty and, as I mentioned, you could tell they were very poor. My life as I remember it. Monday, January 5, 2009. My mother wrote two books, one about her dad and one about her mother's side of the family, which she gave to her children and grandchildren. They are both in Swedish. I should translate them into English, so my children and grandchild(ren) will be able to read them. I often feel sad that my children don't know my side of the family very well. I would love for you to translate the books so that I can read them! So, what is your positive thing for today?
