Three Stories High: Three Stories High
http://joeveryday19.blogspot.com/2015/08/three-stories-high.html
I make something everyday. Wednesday, 12 August 2015. We live in a three story house, it keeps me fit and names my blog! Today I am giving you a peek into our other two three story houses. My Uncle made the first house for Big Sis when she was one and she has collected things for it ever since. Spending her birthday money on little plates and cups, pictures and flowers. Yesterday they decided to do a spring clean and take everything out and give it a dust; playing with a dry paintbrush and sweeping the c...

I make something everyday. Friday, 24 July 2015. I have to level with you, I am not living in a parallel time zone where there are endless knitting minutes. I did actually finish this cardigan two weeks ago but my Minerva post is scheduled for today in case you wondered how I managed two knitting posts back to back! So it is July the peek of summer but us knitters know this is the time to finish off those winter WIP's in time to wear next season. This yarn is from Minerva Crafts. Are you a blocker? Im su...

Farmhouse Traditions: Mother's Day crochet flowers
http://farmhousetraditions.blogspot.com/2015/03/mothers-day-crochet-flowers.html
Sweet vintage home sewn. Sunday, 15 March 2015. Mother's Day crochet flowers. I have been working on creating a crochet flower corsage over the last couple of weeks. There is an abundance of patterns for this purpose-the crochet flower is more than well documented! However, I wanted something that was exactly right as I wanted a special flower for today- Mother's Day. As I used 4 ply cotton and a 2.75mm hook with the measurements suggested the rose would come out a little small so I adjusted it start...

http://farmhousetraditions.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Sweet vintage home sewn. Saturday, 20 August 2016. It's a lovely summer again with lots of visits this year from family. I love to make a little keepsake gift for my adorable niece and nephew and this year decided to make them a patchwork cushion to take home. Now for me, making anything for a boy is quite a challenge-I just have never had the practice and can't say my interest runs to football and the like! However, there is one theme that I do enjoy and it is so linked to Cornwall.pirates! After much r...

ANGEL and CROSS Necklaces. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. The theme of this month's ATC swap Kimberly is hosting at artJOYstuff. And here's what I came up with:. I found this image of a Moulin Rouge can-can dancer, and thought, "ooh la la.it's perfect! I added in some type (that fanciful font is called "Rage", and it is the same one I used in my blog header and water-mark. Actually, I use it all the time on LOTS of projects; definitely a favorite! The Summerhouse by the sea: Cosy Stripe catch up
http://summerhousebythesea.blogspot.com/2015/07/cosy-stripe-catch-up.html
The Summerhouse by the sea. Saturday, 25 July 2015. Cosy Stripe catch up. Hello It's been a little while since I posted about my Cosy blanket so I thought I'd best do a Stripy update. I'm slowly working on it, in fact this week I've done quite a bit (for me anyway). As sods law would have it, I've managed to pick up a nasty cold the week before we are due to go away on holiday. The irony that the only place I've been to pick up a virus, is the Immunologists is not lost on me. I'm loving how it changes ro...

Naturally Carol: April 2013
http://naturallycarol.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Life, faith, creativity. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. And thank you for your kind and supportive comments. On our fire event last sunday. The shaking has ceased. My equilibrium has returned. My husband seems to think that. Due to the temperature readings the firies took. That the self cleaning mode. Has somehow clicked in by itself. Apparently this self cleaning mode. Brings the plates on the insides of the oven. Up to 800 degrees celsius. Where they burn off any food or oil in the oven. Now back to knitting,.
