http://planted-aquaria.livejournal.com/25353.html
Mild egg moon (. Tree branch/twigs aqua decor? After looking through a book on decorating aquariums my brain is flowing with creative juices. Basically what I want to do is take a dead tree branch/twigs from the forest and use it as an interesting center piece in my aquarium. I don't want the wood to seep out pollutants into the water and harm my fish. Does anyone know if there is some sort of clear polyurethane treatment I could coat the branch (aquarium safe! Thank you so much for any input or advice!

Calluna V. (. What do yellowing leaves on sword plants signify a deficiency in? Incidentally, I've found that, although they are short-handled and thus only good for small tanks, stainless steel suture removal scissors do a marvelous job for trimming plants. Post a new comment. Malaysian Trumpet Snail - Melanoides tuberculata. I'm thinking of adding them. To my planted tank. Are they considered a pest through their sheer proliferatity, or do they start eating live plants when they run out of plant debris? Are there any harmful look-a-likes I should be on the watch out for? Other trumpet snails that will graze my plants to death? Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Something different- a fish update! Rosey Tetras and one of my Cories in the background. Rosey Tetras with my Flying Fox. Gosh I love that little dude! Ok, moving along. 1 of 2 Pearl Danios. I lost the majority of my stock about 2-3 months ago due to a fungus infestation. Those lost included 2 Madagascar Rainbows, 1 Pearl Danio, 2 Zebra Danios (not my babies! My last one just recently passed but it was about time for her to go), and my Farlowella Catfish. Man, that was my expensive fish, too!

Green caterpillar thing that makes cocoon in my leaves: planted_aquaria
http://planted-aquaria.livejournal.com/25117.html
Green caterpillar thing that makes cocoon in my leaves. I noticed this crawling on my gravel to one of my najas last night. Upon inspection, there were more of them, cocooned among the plants. What are they and are there cause to worry? Will they harm my fishes? Are they going to turn into something that leaves the water and pest me? How much damage are they to my plants? Can I feed it to a betta? Here's some close ups of them out of the cocoon:. It, out of the water on a toothpick. Next to a penny.
