DIY Barbie clothes
http://ginaandkris.blogspot.com/2010/09/diy-barbie-clothes.html
The Daily B (Archives). Friday, September 17, 2010. Had you asked me a few months ago whether I thought I'd ever have the desire to sew Barbie clothes, I would have laughed. Actually, nevermind. A few months ago we didn't even own Barbies, so I would have just given you a dumb look. But times are a changin'. We inherited these lovely vintage girlfriends. Plus one Donny Osmond doll, not pictured). And I fell in love with their 70s homemade wardrobe. Then, I came across THIS. Here's what I came up with:.

fabric letters for the fridge
http://ginaandkris.blogspot.com/2010/10/fabric-letters-for-fridge.html
The Daily B (Archives). Thursday, October 21, 2010. Fabric letters for the fridge. Miles has been chewing on our plastic fridge magnets, and since they're all secondhand (read: old), I got a tad worried about phthalates. And other toxins. So, I had the idea to make him some fabric magnets that he could gnaw on. THEN I thought, wouldn't it be cute to have a fabric alphabet? Total cost: $4 for the magnets. I like the rough (shall we say shabby chic? October 21, 2010 at 5:09 PM. October 26, 2010 at 3:47 PM.
Banff
http://ginaandkris.blogspot.com/2014/10/banff.html
The Daily B (Archives). Thursday, October 30, 2014. To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, Kris and I traveled to Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada - a destination that's long been on our bucket list for its sheer beauty and mountain culture. It's the first time we've traveled together without the kids. No alarm clock. No agenda. Our best friends generously offered to stay with the munchkins back home, so we didn't have to worry about them one bit. Hand-knit party favors come to life. June ( 2 ).
this week, a taste of forever
http://ginaandkris.blogspot.com/2014/08/this-week-taste-of-forever.html
The Daily B (Archives). Saturday, August 16, 2014. This week, a taste of forever. B just sneaked into the pantry, reached behind the jars of pasta and spices and emerged with the TV remote control. I flash her a sly grin that says, I see you. I know who you are, big sister, outsmarting your little brother. I did those things too. She laughs and runs back down the stairs to watch Scooby Doo, because it's Saturday and because I said she could. Week two I settle into more of a routine. These are strange...

So he made his way through the crowd and asked, "Can I save you?
