My mom and I took Miles and Julia to the playground this past Sunday morning . I looooove the playground even though it makes me nervous to watch the kids climb all over everything and go high up on the cool slides . I'm a nervous ninny, what can I say? The last tomatoes, ripe thanks to this year's unseasonal warmth, the last mini-peppers, the last two (rather large but still fine-textured) courgettes. Just ruby chard and red beet leaves to harvest now, and the watercress is coming back. And the freezer is stocked with tomatoes, peppers, apples and berries. And next year's seeds have arrived.
