The Boland Report: November 2012
http://thebolandreport.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2012. This is what my table looks like these days with four little turkeys around it. It was Kate's last first holiday. I wish she could just stay this age forever. Tim and Chris actually ate off plates (without throwing them or any of the food) for the first time on Thanksgiving. What a wonderful gift! This is a video of Jack singing his Thanksgiving song the next day. Also note the flowers above him . getting them for me was all his idea. Monday, November 5, 2012. The Cup - Kate.

The Boland Report: August 2012
http://thebolandreport.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 20, 2012. My brother and his wonderful wife had an amazing fairy tale wedding in Malibu. I don't think anyone in attendance could have been happier that the two of them found each other. Sarah has such an amazing heart and I am so glad to have her as part of my life. The kids had the honor of being part of the beautiful ceremony. Let me tell you, the rehersal dinner and wedding were nothing short of completely spectacular. Jack jumped right in. Totally going in the baby book. We so match :).

The Boland Report: July 2012
http://thebolandreport.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 22, 2012. Chris and Tim turned 2 today. In some ways I can't believe it has gone by so fast, in other ways it has been a long two years. We are so happy to have these special guys in our life despite all the work that raising twins can be. Since they really don't like going to parties with lots of people, we decided not to have a big party for them. We celebrated by going swimming (a favorite of theirs for sure) and having a cake after dinner. Here are some pictures. View my complete profile.

The Boland Report: May 2013

Friday, May 24, 2013. Space A Trip #2. My parent came for the last few weeks to watch our kids so Dave and I could do another Space A (like free stand by for military flights) trip to Europe. We flew into Italy where our friends Tim and Carly and Peter and Riann are stationed. It's so nice to see people in your life who don't live near you :). Very cool Olive Oil Mill/Store. Beach view from our hotel room. Relaxing at the pool. And on the beach. La Ramble - street of shops. The island with a little church.

The Boland Report: September 2012
http://thebolandreport.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 11, 2012. First Day of School. Yesterday was a big milestone for Jack. It was the first day of preschool. He has an October birthday which means that he had to wait longer than most kids to go to school. Jack has been SO READY for SO LONG. I am not sad to have him away from home 9 hours a week (like I thought that I would be) because I know how much Jack is ready for some more organized stimulation. It is just a darling little school that makes me smile when I drive up. Me and my boy!

The Boland Report: June 2012
http://thebolandreport.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. In keeping with our tradition of trying a new beach each summer, we headed out to North Carolina's Outter Banks a few weeks ago. It was awesome! We went with our friends Tim and Carly who just left for their 3 year Army tour in Italy. I'm greatful we got to spend so much time with them before they left. Here are some pictures. I think this may show up on a Christmas card somewhere :). A little too bright, but here we are! This is where the Wright brothers did their first flights.

Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Our Jack is 4! We went to visit my parents to celebrate Jack's birthday. Some very special people joined us including my brother, his wife, our friends Bill and Kim, and the Lopez family. My mom also invited about half the town. We had a great time. Birthday dinner at our all time favorite hibachi place - Yamatos. Jack picked out his own decorations. Pretending to be a dinosaur. Looking so interested at Grandpa. Chris in the cool tent my mom set up for the kids. Nicole's year i...

The Boland Report: July 2013
http://thebolandreport.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 25, 2013. We have been so busy getting ready for our move that my little blog has been neglected. This is my 4th "big move," but the first time where I'm not thinking that I would seriously like to move back at some point. Does that mean I didn't love being here? We had a few last adventures that I wanted to share some pictures of. First, Dave and I went to Maine which was AMAZING. What a special place with so much charm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, December 23, 2012. Since this is our last year in DC for Christmas, we did all the thing we have been talking about doing but have never actually done. As I am short on time this evening, this will be a story through pictures blog post :). A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theater (we had amazing seats). Really bad phone picture of us at the Kennedy Center for The Nutcracker. Army Band Christmas Concert. Not the same without the Doyles, but lots of fun. Santa came to visit. Have a Merry Christmas!

Thursday, April 25, 2013. This past weekend we went to the circus. I feel like it's cheating to just post pictures without some writing to go with it, but all I can think to say is that we had a blast and here are some pictures :).
