Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Our boy George came to live with us on Saturday. Daved and I were both supposed to go pick him up from the breeder's house which is just outside Wickenburg, roughly 3 hours from Tucson, but I got called in to work on Saturday so Daved went by himself. He is even cuter than I remembered! He only wimpered a bit, and we had to let him out to go to the bathroom 3 times during the 9 hours we were in bed, but that was much better than him crying for an hour! I got a start date!

Sunday, December 7, 2008. Our Sunday School had a Christmas party on Friday, and Daved and I took it upon ourselves to make it an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. My outfit was fantastic. It was complete with:. 1 Jingle bell necklace, ring, earrings, and bracelet. 2 80's green mom pants. 3 Lovely Christmas sweater-vest. 5 80's leather belt. 6 Sparkly santa hat. 7 Ho ho ho socks. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. I believe donating blood is certainly important enough for a blog, so here goes. I just donated again this afternoon, and you should too! If you can, it's an amazing thing to do. A good family friend of mine was diagnosed with leukemia over 10 years ago, and ever since I've felt like if I can donate blood, I will. He would not have been able to survive as long as he did without someone giving up a mere hour of their time, and with that one hour you can save three lives!
