Older Entries ». It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! December 11th, 2012. After suffering holiday decor envy for the past several weeks, we finally got our home into the spirit. I got my first real tree, a 7 foot beauty that occupied much of our tiny, furniture-less living room. While I thought that tree was magnificent, this year with a new sofa and coffee table residing in the same room, we opted for a slightly smaller tree. During the summer I picked up one of the tall square zinc planters.

I live in Forest Hill, which puts me slap bang in the middle of deepest, darkest South East London. Despite what some people may think, it's actually only in Zone 3. We have all the non-urban stuff, like tree-lined avenues, parks and Victorian conservation areas, yet still retain the benefits of infinite dining options and all night supermarkets.
