My Totally Random Thoughts. Things that I am curious about, want to learn about, what I find interesting. Monday, August 2, 2010. Double-spacing after sentences vs. Single-spacing. I was always taught to type two spaces after a period. Perhaps this was because when I learned how to type, I learned on a typewriter not a computer. Micrographia: or, Some Physiological Descriptions of Minute Bodies Made by Magnifying Glasses with Observations and Inquiries thereupon. On Google Books and noticed that some of the s's looked like f's, but not all of them. So, I wanted to see why that was and what the rules are for this strange looking letter.
