A Time to Stitch 6 Reveal. The challenge Christine Altmiller. Gave us for A Time To Stitch 6. Was to follow a chart and use one of four stitches (peyote, square, RAW or brick) to create a three-dimensional design. As someone who is severely chart-challenged (this may rise to the level of a disability), I took the plunge nevertheless, because I’m always. Next, I needed a graph. Despite the fact that Cath Thomas has generously done the work of estimating sizing and providing free peyote graphs. The model's...

Sent a group of her friends some really cool howlite spikes and said, "Go forth, and play! These were bold gemstones. Large, double holed, and gently squared off. Below is a pair of the black spikes, although I got a mix of black and white spikes. But here are a couple of pictures:. It's a deceptively simple pendant t...

Tuesday, January 27, 2015. There have been some posts lately about what do we really need to be happy. A year ago we adopted Marley from a family too busy to really have time to take care of him. What joy he has brought to our home. Yes, he wanted to eat the cats. They are all now friends. Give him a truck ride with a hamburger kicker. Throw the ball and remember the treats. He's a happy dude! So thank you Marley for making us laugh and smile. You are a keeper! Links to this post. Wow did we eat good.

Beads, beaches and the beauty I see. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. I got a good bit finished today. Three charity sewing projects some of which are months overdue or extremely early if you look on the positive side. One is a blanket for the local NICU. Two stockings for holiday care packages for the troops. I also finished Marcia Balonis' Pearls on Posies. Of course she patterned a bracelet, but I went my own way with the adorable flowers. Hope you had a productive Monday as well. Links to this post. That the ...

Sunday, October 30, 2016. October Component of the Month Reveal - Sugar Skulls. Rarely enter a giveaway challenge, but I took a chance this time, because autumn is my favorite time of the year. I am not very familiar with the holiday, Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead so I researched it and this is what I found:. Sugar, meringue powder and water pressed into skull molds and then decorated using bright colored paints or dye. ". Very colorful, like Mardis Gras in New Orleans! Day of the Dead. Thank you...

My New Go-To Necklace | Bead Love
https://beadlove.wordpress.com/2015/08/09/my-new-go-to-necklace
My New Go-To Necklace. Asymp; 2 Comments. Growth and Wisdom pendants. It’s nice to have a few go-to pieces of jewelry that you can always rely on. They go with everything, and they are always easy to wear. I recently made myself a necklace like this. I use the term “made” loosely as all I did was purchase some beautiful Growth and Wisdom pendants by Julie Wong Sontag. And put them on a gorgeous chain by Shannon German of Miss Fickle Media. Friday, January 3, 2014. I meant to make a bracelet, but I found these ombré olive beads and I thought they went well with the other pieces for a necklace. I'm not sure you can see on te close up of the bead, but there is a subtle blue running through the olive green. So pretty up close. Thanks Rebekah, your beads are always so well made. Thanks for stopping by and please check out what everyone else made. Stephanie - Confessions of a Bead Hoarder. Ann - Bead Love. Karin - Ginkgo et Coquelicot.
