This is a long post, and most likely will be my last. But I do still have my turtle, Jasper. Not sure for how long though, because I have to move out of here, do to the horrible second hand smoke and mildew in my apartment. That's what killed Ricky. This was Ricky and I on August 9, 2014. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Gig hasn't been feeling too well lately. She has had some blood in her stool and strains to go. Sometimes there's a bulge. Other days she seems her same chipper self. The bleeding has stopped for now. I try to make her stay in the cage more. It seems that when she gets excited and flies around too much then she bleeds. She is almost 12 years old. Sunday, October 13, 2013. October 13, 2013-Fly Free My Little Gigi. Gigi passed away at 7:00 this evening. I held her and kept her warm and cozy, talking to her all the time. On the Budwig Cancer Protocol now. Getting organic, raw milk from a nearby farm and making my own cheese. Information in my posts. I'm thin, but feel good. Lots better than that 187 lbs. Meanwhile, I'm still enjoying the wildlife outside my windows. I don't see the deer very often and I haven't seen a fox since last Sept. I'm hoping to see some this summer though! Sunday, January 5, 2014. This was the first squirrel to start coming around. So now I'm feeding them again, after not feeding since August. They all disappeared for some reason. I saved money for a few months.Ha! First skunk I'd seen in months also. First time I'd seen the gals in a while. Tilly was with them. So happy to know they didn't get killed this hunting season. A squirrel sits up in the tree, eating off the branches. And here's Tilly, out after dark. Happy New Year everyone! All is well so far!
