Laura at and after Cambridge. These are the trials and tribulations of the over-educated and unemployed. Monday, December 26, 2005. With the way word seems to spread, I would not be surprised if many of you already know, but my mom got engaged to Lou! This has truly been a wonderful and very special Christmas for us all! But you know how the rational brain takes over and doesn't believe intuition? Had convinced her and made her quite a bit grumpy. Hearing this made me intuitively know that the propos...

Laura at and after Cambridge. These are the trials and tribulations of the over-educated and unemployed. Friday, September 30, 2005. New Friends, Money and My Quest For a Bike. I knew today would be a rough one for me, with it being my birthday, but so far, so good. Yesterday I went shopping and bought a bunch of stuff I needed. Everything is SO expensive here! I was in shock yesterday, not only from jetlag and severe homesickness, but also sticker shock about prices! Posted by Laura @ 1:37 PM. A huge pa...

Laura at and after Cambridge. These are the trials and tribulations of the over-educated and unemployed. Monday, June 05, 2006. Today I have my first exam, and I have to admit that I am feeling a bit nervous right now! I know I am really well prepared but the anticipation of it is just messing with my head. Plus it is filling a void in my life left by Desperate Housewives. I am really looking forward to exams being over and guilt-free marathons of BG :D. Posted by Laura @ 9:49 AM. Sunday, June 04, 2006.

http://carylindoha.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2007. In an effort to update my blog more often, I risk boring you with the little details that you don't really care about. Eh, we'll see how this blog blitz goes and then maybe over the summer I'll try to find a happy medium :-). That night I had people over to drink my newly purchased booze and sit around my newly purchased patio table. Then we went downstairs to Silvia's apartment for the most ridiculous party. There are pictures but I would need permission from people to po...Anywa...

Caryl In Qatar: January 2007
http://carylindoha.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 03, 2007. I accepted this job in Qatar in February. January and February were miserable, not necessarily because I was in Mechanicsburg. But just because I realized how much I hate boredom. I am not someone who can sit around and do nothing for a day, let alone two whole months. Moving to Qatar was a life-changing experience, as I knew it would be, and as I know it will continue to be. In the grand. Those recent travels. India, Oman, and Hong. Unfortunately, that "stupid American" is a...
