Thursday, March 04, 2010. Why every time I trade cars with my daughter, do I feel so compelled to clean her car and fill it up with gas? I'm not sure why I think that will happen, it hasn't happened with my husband yet. When we were dating I use to clean his house (hell, I still clean his house) just to do something nice for him. We were only dating! Truth is, it's much easier to do when they aren't around. Plus, I'd like a little of it to rub off on them. "Not gonna happen". Posted at 1:20 PM.

Monday, January 22, 2007. Of course there were those moments of fighting in the car, not doing homework and the trials of getting ALL the layers of ski clothes on. but they were all worth it. We ran into someone Bob use to work with at the ski lodge - now that was weird. He is a wonderful man and somewhat of a mentor in Bob's life, so it was really nice to spend some time with he and his wife. Posted at 11:32 AM. Tuesday, January 09, 2007. Vacation. Here we come. Thursday, August 24, 2006. Landry started waving bye-bye a few days ago (I KNOW - teeth AND bye-bye all in one week! How much can one mom handle? Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Some days just aren't bubble days. You think you have it - whatever "it" is - all figured out and then BOOM - you find out some days just aren't. Landry didn't like baths until we found out just how fun bubbles can be. Then at the mere mention of "bath" she would start running to the bathroom yelling "bath, bath, bath, bath, bath" which was of course much more fun than her running away from the bathroom yelling "No, no, no, no, no, no". Monday, June 29, 2009. I love VBS week! It's been so fun to have Sydney, MacKenzie and Landry all at the church, watching them work and play. It's crazy loud, there are people EVERYWHERE, the teachers are stressed, the children are endlessly full of energy and all the while everyone is thankful and learning about God. MacKenzie and her class. Sydney and her class. Sydney and Landry being goofy. It was an awesome week. I'm so proud of my girls and how they have become little VBS counselors.
