Saturday, April 3, 2010. My co-worker and I went up this other trail behind Weber State that was beautiful. Again - in the snow may not be the greatest idea. but it really was beautiful! I never know if I like photos edited or just the way God gave it to us! And yes, I fell in the water getting this picture. Just in case you may have been wondering :(. There were a few very old cars up there that had OBVIOUSLY been there for many many years. I thought it was amazing and had to photograph them!

Thursday, November 25, 2010. It's been a very long time since I have blogged! 11 months ago today was my last post! Things have been quite crazy. I have NOT been out with my camera nearly enough this year. But I am going to go back and back track a bit from what is in my photo files. I think this will be a totally sparse year. But anything you read for 2010 will be a new post :) Enjoy if you will. Don't if you don't :). PS since it's winter time once again. I am not going to change my header pics yet!

Friday, November 27, 2009. From Blank to Stylish! There was a pre-lit tree at Lowe's in the Black Friday ad. So I put one aside for me to get after work was done. Tonight we broke open the tree! We got it put together, with the A, B and C in the correct order. It took a little work. but we did finally get it right. You would think a college educated Mom and a kindergartener could get the A, B and C in the right order the first time. Obviously not :(. The kids were in charge of the candy cane application.

Wednesday, February 9, 2011. She was thrilled and kept saying that it was the "best day of her life." Yay for best days! She also really wanted a motor scooter. She's been wanting this for about a year now. It just doesn't seem to ever happen. Maybe someday. Other than that though she was able to get everything she wanted. Happy Birthday, Beautiful Lauren! I couldn't resist.it's MANGO SEASON! If everyone out there tasted even one of these delicious ripening mangoes from our tree, you would drop everything and move in with me in Hawaii. And why not? The more the merrier! Half of my small readership probably HAS lived here for some amount of time! Was it time that made the difference?

Wednesday, February 8, 2012. I made Balsamic Chicken tonight and it was a big hit with my family. I super simplified it- 6 chicken breasts, some shakes of italian seasoning, a can of diced tomatoes, 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar. Throw it all in the crockpot and cook all afternoon. My kids ate theirs over rice but I had mine over green beans and it was awesome! Plus it makes your house smell amazing! Can I tell you the scale is stuck again for now nearly 2 weeks?
