The adventures of nick, mona, jack and luke. Monday, December 31, 2012. Look Who Lost a Tooth! On our way home from Brian Head on New Year's Eve, we stopped at State Line to have lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Clark, who were there for the New Year's Eve celebration. While eating teriyaki chicken and white rice, Jack complained that his loose front tooth was hurting. A couple minutes later, he spit out a tooth! His first lost tooth! He was so very excited, as were we! Our little man is growing up!

The adventures of nick, mona, jack and luke. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. There was a climbing area that was made to look like a winding and twisting set of branches. Our little monkeys loved climbing on this! Shooting water guns at drums to make "music". Luke wanted to take off his swim shirt so he could be "just like Ian." Too cute! Excavation area, where the kids could use small brushes to look for "dinosaur bones" and hone their paleontologist skills. Luke loved the trike area! Saturday, June 2, 2012.

We started our evening projects about a month in advance to prep for the party. Jack gets so excited to help with the projects. It all came together well, and the hard work paid off! The adventures of nick, mona, jack and luke. Friday, May 25, 2012. Jack's Trip to the Zoo. Jack's Kindergarten Connection class had a fieldtrip to the Santa Ana Zoo, and Nick was able to chaperone. The kids had a great time. Sunday, May 20, 2012. Jack's first swim meet. Having grown up with a pool at my Grammie's house, I don't remember a time when I wasn't swimming. Since we don't have a pool of our own, Nick and I really wanted the boys to be exposed to swimming- for safety reasons, as well as fun!

As I write, I find myself going back one year from today and the joy Brody brought our family when he was born on 12-11-10 at 9:46pm. I remember saying the words, "he is just perfect! Over and over when he was born.and it's still true today. Yes, he is ALL BOY, rather ornery, and persistent but he is ours. And let's be honest, I think those adjectives probably describe most Blakes. :). 1 year photo shoot.
