今年，世界标准日的主题是 标准营造公平竞争环境 ，中国主题是 标准营造公平竞争环境，标准构建统一市场规则。 成立了国家测绘地理信息局测绘标准化工作委员会和全国地理信息标准化技术委员会，制定了 地理信息标准化工作管理规定 和 测绘标准化工作管理办法 ，建立起了较为开放的标准研制模式和工作机制。 发布了 测绘标准体系 和 国家地理信息标准体系 ，实现了测绘地理信息标准化工作的科学性、计划性和有序性。 标准 一词在 决定 中出现了12次， 决定 在市场准入、政府职能转变、文化、教育、国防建设等方面都对标准化工作提出了明确要求。 如何加快实施 构建智慧中国、监测地理国情、壮大地信产业，建设测绘强国 的总体战略，发挥好测绘地理信息事业在国家改革发展大局中 全力做好测绘地理信息服务保障，大力促进地理信息产业发展，尽责维护国家地理信息安全 的功能作用，迫切要求我们在思想观念、管理理念、职责定位、组织结构、力量布局、技术构架、产品结构、服务模式等方面加快变革和创新。
