Arts and Crafts by Gizmalley. The Days are just Packed…. So, I finally got around to sewing something for myself again. I’ve had this pattern for quite some time – since the day when I went crazy and ordered about 8 patterns from farbenmix.de. This one is called Florina. The cutting and sewing was amazingly fast, but the neck took hours on end – as always. I hate it! Anyhow, I actually used only fabric scraps I had left over from other projects! My very favorite one has a lot of holes in it, so I took it apart and figured the whole thing out – and it’s really quite easy. I’m not a hundred percent happy with how it turned out, though I’m absolutely thrilled with some of the details: They boy’s collar, for example. Or the girl’s necklace. Unfortunately, the colors didn’t turn out quite right in this scan. The girl’s dress is really light blue. I used Polychromos pencils by Faber Castell.
