Christian Tribastone: October 2013
http://tribbie.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 15, 2013. This Site Is Closed Do Not Enter. Job, go crazy. Especially those that instigated the shutdown then shamelessly postured in front of cameras to complain about it's results. Not that I feel like sketching those nincompoops. Posted by Christian Tribastone. Links to this post. Friday, October 11, 2013. Posted by Christian Tribastone. Links to this post. Sunday, September 22, 2013. Small Press Expo '13. So Baltimore Comic-Con was fun, but the real action came a week later in DC with the Small Press Expo. Posted by Christian Tribastone. Links to this post. Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Baltimore Comic Con 2013. I've been living in DC for some time now, but only in recent years have I started braving the Baltimore Comic Con. Unlike a lot of pop culture conventions, Baltimore is straight up about Comic. Books. Posted by Christian Tribastone.

Thursday, October 2, 2014. About 3 feet by 4 1/2 feet on cardboard. I meant to finish this for NYSSSA this past summer, but it wasn't quite done. Then I spent about 15 more minutes on it then realized yes, yes it is done. Posted by Christian Tribastone. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. http://tribbie.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-dying-gaul.html
Sunday, December 15, 2013. Pointed out to our sketchcrawl group that The Dying Gaul. Was on temporary loan to the NGA, and gathered a bunch of us to go sketch it. While the crowd around the sculpture was deep, everyone found a decent unobstructed view or two to draw from. Posted by Christian Tribastone. When Christian-translation.com enters the picture, the Christian translation were. Not convinced that he was the one to rescue them. Perhaps they were looking for a military leader.

Christian Tribastone: February 2013
http://tribbie.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. Sometime late last year street artist Hense. Came to DC to work on a former church south of the Capitol area. The project had some minor controversy over whether this was respectful to the history of this particular site, but nonetheless it's pretty awesome and fun to see up close. You can check out more about the project at Design Boom. Posted by Christian Tribastone. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Friends of Mr. Tribastone.

Christian Tribastone: September 2014

Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall is great, but tends to be a bit too crowded and filled with toddlers sprinting around. The NASM Udvar-Hazy Center out in Virginia on the other hand is a huge facility with some incredibly awesome aircraft on display, and a much calmer space to sketch about. And the conservation facility shows a bit of the process involved in restoring and maintaining the amazing pieces at the museum. Posted by Christian Tribastone.

Christian Tribastone: January 2013
http://tribbie.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 21, 2013. So as we were Sketchcrawling our way along the National Mall, we caught the attention of a PBS videographer/journalist who was out look for pictures and stories. After a call to his editor, he got a bit of an extension on his deadline to join us on our 'crawl. Here is what he's posted on the PBS New Hour InaugBlog. Kind of fun to get a little publicity. Though I never really like hearing the sound of my voice. Thanks Patrick Record. Posted by Christian Tribastone. Monday, Januar...

Monday, May 26, 2014. 8220;So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”. We made a couple drinks for F. Scott and Zelda, but already there was a collection of pens, books, stones, flowers and coins left by other admirers with similar intentions. Posted by Christian Tribastone.
