THE ART OF THE RELIQUARY. APRIL 12 and 13, 2014. Rel·i·quar·y: a container or shrine where relics or other precious objects are kept. In this hands-on workshop students will use personal imagery to create a precious object from porcelain and a reliquary to house it. Niches, doorways and windows will be used to alternately hide and reveal inner treasures. Please bring to class 2-3 items of personal significance to you and a willingness to explore.
