Glass Act: Stitch (and various other crafts) and Bitch
http://glassbyleona.blogspot.com/2011/07/stitch-and-various-other-crafts-and.html
A place for art. Thursday, July 14, 2011. Stitch (and various other crafts) and Bitch. Like a lot of folks who take part in Stitch and Bitch, we take "stitch" to mean anything involving crafts. Last night, we had mosaic crafters, a crochet crafter, a recycled arts crafter, and even a bill-payer! Compared to some past Stitch and Bitch sessions, this one was fairly mild. This helped us finish some projects and stay on task. The evening usually starts with an air of studiousness. Observe:. Carol and Beth de...

A place for art. Monday, June 20, 2011. Luckily the rain held off for last Saturday's Farmer's Market. The variety of produce and flowers are ever increasing as the summer season progresses. I love the selection of food at the Farmer's Market , but the people involved with this operation are just as lovely! To all my customers and to everyone else with good hearts, honesty, and pizzazz:. I take pictures of (mostly) non-living objects that have faces. I hope you like them. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Notice how this looks crooked? I was not holding my camera at an angle. It's the outlet cover that's not straight. Or it could be the wall? The guy in the middle has nothing to say about it, but the two dudes beside him are very very shocked. Things with Faces: your face is a stain.
http://thingswithfaces-thingswithfaces.blogspot.com/2011/06/your-face-is-stain.html
I take pictures of (mostly) non-living objects that have faces. I hope you like them. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Your face is a stain. This is definitely not the most pleasing image. I forgot to clean the kitchen counter the other morning, and this spill was either from tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, or maybe I cut myself? No, I'm sure it was either the spaghetti sauce or the tomatoes. This is why you should clean any spills as soon as they happen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Fused glass is my creative outlet to release the stresses of daily life. Breaking glass helps to let out the tension and let my creative ideas flow. I started doing stained glass and expanding my glass work knowledge until I purchased my first kiln. Over the years my skills are taking me in new directions with each new technique. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Does this ever happen to you? You have a specific tool you buy for a project, use it, put it away, and cannot find it the next time you want to use it? That’s what happened to me when I was working on this:. I did not want to use my big iron for such small pieces and remembered this:. A bit antiquated, but it worked fine. I canned corn this week. I do not have a deep freezer so I have to can everything. I was surprised how easy the corn was to can! 8216;Poke’ out air bubbles. I cre...
