Wearyall hill met deheilige doorn. LegendePas na de zestiende eeuw wordt Wearyall hill met de verhalen rondom Glastonbury verbonden. De oorsprong lag bij de monnik John van Glastonbury, die in het midden van de 14e eeuw leefde. Een etymologische verbastering van Wirral werd Wearyall hill. Rechts, de oude boom herleeft al weer, er zijn nieuwe loten ontstaan. Er is goede hoop dat de boom opnieuw zal gaan groeien en bloeien. Dit proces wordt door velen nauwlettend gevolgd.
