Glastonbury Harvest Show is a popular local event, with a footfall of hundreds of local people. Stallholders tend to be promoting local projects or selling local produce and crafts, sustainability and gardening, through food for sale, books and more. The harvest show is a grassroots, volunteer organised event. New energy is always welcome. Key areas of support are:. Publicity and promotion beforehand. We want to see useful food, not special exhibition inedibles! We will assess texture, colour, scent, and ease of preparation home-grown food that is ‘sink-ready’ for the cook to prepare and use. Stewards will be on hand to help with classifying produce on the morning of the show! 1) Squashes, gourds, marrows and cucumbers. 3) Onions, leeks and garlic. 4) Roots and tubers. 5) Peas and beans. 9) Chillies and peppers. To be no larger than 60cm x 45cm x 20cm (24 x 18″ x 8″). Please label them accordingly.
