NH Gleans
http://www.nhgleans.org/index.php
NH Gleans is a network of organizations working to increase the availability of fresh and local produce that is distributed to and through New Hampshire food pantries, soup kitchens, community suppers and schools. In 2015 more than 100,000 pounds of fresh food was rescued. Through the act of gleaning and sharing food, we connect and nourish our community to build stronger relationships and a deeper appreciation for our food. To gather leftover fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.

NH Gleans-Belknap County is coordinated through the Belknap County Conservation District (BCCD). ‘We couldn’t do this without the generous donation of time made by our volunteers, the support of our local farmers and home gardeners, and the assistance of the many local food banks and pantries that open their doors for donations of fresh vegetables and fruit! States Lisa Morin, Program Coordinator for BCCD. Belknap County Conservation District. Lakes Region Food Network.
