These are all of the pictures I took during our time with the Bairds for Christmas, but what a beautiful site! We had a wonderful turkey dinner (Heather did a great job, it was delicious! Then topped it with yummy pie. Of course, when I was asked what type we would like, the obvious answer was: Pumkin. Here is Abby enjoying the cream more than the pie! It was a blast! I wrote previouslyabout how my friends Detta and Janyce met, and I feel compelled to write more about them. The first story that comes to mind is when they decided to have children. Janyce would be the biological Mother of their two girls, and in order for Detta to also be related, they asked Detta’s older brother Jerry to donate for the cause and he agreed. And that, it turns out, was the easy part.

In the end, only kindness matters. Friday, April 10, 2009. When I was young, my family would drive to Utah to see our Grandparents. On one such trip, I was probably twelve, we stopped at a rest stop to use the facilities. On the ground I found the coolest telescope. It was small, and though it had no lense, I still had fun sliding one end in and out, pretening I was a pirate looking for lost treasure. Why would you throw away a perfectly good telescope just because I found it in a rest stop bathroom?
