Golf Course News and Information By Steve Kealy, Golf Course Superintendent. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. If you look closely at the photo above, you can see this area is full of old tree roots. The new line is 3 1/2 feet deep. 6" ADS black drain pipe will be installed, covered with four inches of pea gravel, and the rest buried in sand to the surface. I checked out the weather forecast for the next week and and it's back to the mid 80's and low 90's. This has to be the driest May, June, and July in all the years I've superintendent at Glendale CC. Golf Course News and Information By Steve Kealy, Golf Course Superintendent. Friday, January 30, 2015. 12th man flag flying high at Glendale CC. This is Superbowl week and to show our team support we mounted a 12th man flag on top of a tree next to the 15th green. Several trees were removed in this area recently and we left one to fly our team flag. The "flag pole" is 109' tall and you can see it from most areas on the back nine. This view is from the 15th tee looking at the the 15th green.

Gauchos Home Page
Gauchos move to 5-5 on the year, 1-3 in ACCAC play. Gauchos lose on the road to Pima, 82-67. The Gauchos held an early advantage, a field goal by Isaiah Lopez put the Glendale up 24-17 with 8 minutes to play in the first half. But Pima responded and closed the half out on a 22-9 run to hold a 39-33 advantage. The Gauchos tied the game early in the second half at 41 but then went cold as the Aztecs took advantage and began to pull away. 6000 West Olive Ave. Glendale, AZ 85302. Gauchos Improve to 5-4.

Once we got it flushed out we could tie into it with some new drain lines through the sloppy area. Several new lines were added and week later the area has dried out and is playable.
