I have started this experiment right after the first part. Of this post, but Ive become to busy painting that made me wonder if this is still relevant when someone can gain this knowledge through practice and observation. Just the same, I hope somebody might find it useful. Is there any scale to measure paper wetness?

A Walk with Man. Rediscovering the joy of drawing, painting and other traditional media. Friday, May 29, 2015. 160; Ive been meaning to learn how to paint with gouache, but this medium is not so popular nowadays that it is really hard to source unless you order online. I had but five tubes of basic colors I bought sometime ago, but to be of much use requires that I buy some more tubes of paint which I think is not so practical at the moment. Links to this post. I've been quite busy - not busy enough not to go online, but there have been attempts to update this blog, then I'd be distracted by other things, I end up not getting anything done at all. Last night, I promised myself (I even wrote it in one of my post its) to update this, and so here am I, with lots of things to distract me, yet I pulled myself out of it just so I can do my duty in this private corner of mine. Getting rather ex...

http://annerosarioart.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 1, 2014. I decided to organize my deviantfolder when I saw this old painting I did years ago. For fun, I decided to do a speedy rework on one of it, and here's the result. It was fun. Maybe if I need to relax, or I'm stuck and in need to refresh my creative flow, I might do one of these again. I'm challenging you guys to do this. It'd be fun to know the improvement on your knowledge or ability or skills. And if possible, tag me, post your links here, so I can see yours too.

A Walk with Man: More Gouache Exercises
https://walkwithman.blogspot.com/2015/06/more-gouache-exercises.html
A Walk with Man. Rediscovering the joy of drawing, painting and other traditional media. Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Even at my second attempt at gouache, it still feels intimidating to me. As I lay down my first strokes, I'm unsure of what the outcome would be. I feel the face is a little bit off in the final image. Even though I had a tight drawing, painting in gouache covers your initial line work and I was forced just to wing it as I go on. 10" x 7.5" Shinhan Pass on watercolor paper. Sailor Fude De Mannen.
