The Greatest Gatsby: The Great Gatsby Film Versions

http://glennandstevegatsby.blogspot.com/2010/06/great-gatsby-film-versions.html

Wednesday, June 2, 2010. The Great Gatsby Film Versions. The Great Gatsby has been twice made into a movie, once in 1974, once in 2000. While I prefer the 1974 version because of its higher accuracy to the novel, both the 2000 version and the 1974 version capture the essence of the novel. However, I feel as if the 2000 version strayed away from the more linear qualities of the 1974 version, and interpreted the book in its own way. Source: Personal experience watching the movies. The Greatest Gatsby: The Green Light

http://glennandstevegatsby.blogspot.com/2010/05/green-light.html

Thursday, May 27, 2010. There are many symbols in the Great Gatsby that are used to represent the ideas and meanings of characters and settings. The most prominent one is the Green Light, which is located on the edge of Daisy's dock. This green light represents Gatsby's dreams and hopes for the future, and his longing for Daisy's love. The Ellis Family

Monday, March 28, 2011. With 6 minutes left in the game. Kaitlin went down and went down hard! Looks like she's out for the season. Only 2 games into the high school varsity season and #17 from Conifer High School took my baby girl out. Totally unintentional - just part of the game - no harm, no foul.ok.well there was harm ;-). Kaitlin doesn't even remember how she fell, she only remembers falling and hearing 3 pops. She did save the goal - YAY Kaitlin! They ended up losing 1-0). She's sprained her ankle...
