Saturday, September 12, 2009. Riley Turned 4 This Year. One year older and this year it just had to be Transformers. Grandma Jo and Papa Kevin bought Riley both the Optimus. Prime and Bumblebee costumes. He didn't wear them at the party but he has worn them plenty before and after and will be wearing one or both for Halloween. Ari was especially taken with Elder Abbott, and had a difficult time leaving him. She cried for him as we drove away. It was really cute. Four going on 24 that is. What a pill! It was really cute. We hope to visit them again sometime. Hey Kelli-How are you girl? Remember me from good old Morgan El? Mike and Becky Kennedy.

The Jones Family: Two Less Tubes

Saturday, January 8, 2011. The biggest tubes are now gone! Conner just had his two chest drain tubes removed. They just gave little versed (so he would relax and lay on the table, and hopefully not remember the experience) and morphine (for the pain) and yanked. Really. His surgeon came in during the procedure, and kept instructing the nurse practitioners to pull it out FAST. I have since been told that the speed is needed to keep air from getting in- very important! January 8, 2011 at 11:18 PM.
