So there I was, on a gorgeous day, no baby in sight, fields of green and blue sky above, dressed in the only pair of riding pants that fit and my half chaps… what’s a girl to do? Why, try out an OTTB, of course! But bec...

Awww What do we have here? To be fair, I find this picture totally appealing. But as I’ve mentioned in the past, I am a big fan of sorta derpy looking geldings with big heads. Not that this guy has a huge head by any means, but it’s not a delicate, typey thing, is it? This entry was posted in Where Are They Now? Enter your comment ...

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. I forgot to add that I would not have a job in this ideal world, which is non-ideal. Murphy’s Law of Horses. Any trouble a horse can. Get into, a horse will. Have I ever mentioned that I am anal about keeping the paddock clean? In my ideal world* I could do it twice a day every day, so my psyche finds this once every other day shtick a little hard to take. Sunday, February 21, 2010. Today we are taking my mother, David's parents and our friend Roger to Strahan, on the wild west coast of Tassie. Last night I tried to double-check the driving time using Google Maps and got this:. It’s a little hard to read, but the basic route is from Hobart, Indiana through the US to Seattle, over to Hawaii, then Japan, then Indonesia, Australia and finally Strahan, Tasmania. Estimated driving time = 56 days. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Rock and Racehorses: The Blog.
