Colin, Heather, Owen, and Abby. Monday, June 20, 2011. Baby Update (36 1/2 Weeks). So we had another doctor's appointment today . . . and found out our little guy is breech! Immediately my head starting pinging with questions: what does this mean, what can we do, will he flip over on his own? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Baby Update (36 1/2 Weeks). Friday, April 04, 2008. The first signs of spring! Wellit's a friday evening, i'm at home, with a pineapple pizza. i haven't had one in forever! The best part of all this.i have my balcony door open and i can hear birds. i'm guessing the sheep are all ready in bed? They wake up early enough. Thursday, April 03, 2008. The pursuit of happiness. I know i haven't posted in awhile. i guess life has been somewhat depressing and i'm realizing i'm not as happy as i used to be. i'm hoping to change that.

Friday, December 12, 2008. When did you last sleep in a bed outside your home? Thanksgiving. when i go home to my parents, i share a bed with my sister :). When did you last drive someone else’s car? Ooothat's been awhile.well, actually no. i drove my dad's massive pick-up the weekend before thanksgiving as i slide on ice with mine and killed the rim on my front passenger wheel. When did you last cook in someone else’s kitchen? Umm, probably at my parents house. does that even count? An article i liked.

The Darrs: Springtime in Nashville
http://steveandsarahdarr.blogspot.com/2011/04/springtime-in-nashville.html
Thursday, April 14. We spent a long weekend visiting Steve's parents in Nashville. After the spring we've had up north, it was just the break we needed. Two of the days topped out over 80 degrees! The greenery and flowers gave me hope of what's to come in Minnesota. There's something about Nashville scenery that is so calming and serene. You feel like you're in a movie. Cherry blossoms in Phil and Linda's back yard. We stopped by the Dave Ramsey headquarters . Saw the original Grand Ole Opery.

Tuesday, September 14. Despite the fact that I ran track in high school and have been known on occasion to go for a jog, I don't still consider myself a runner. Several years ago I did a handful of 5k races, but if I'm brutally honest it was more for the perks (t-shirts, snacks, etc) than the actual running. 3 miles in, still smiling. 5 miles in, Katie still smiling, me not so much. 6 miles in, no explanation necessary. :). Thursday, February 10. This January, we went on an amazing trip with our friends Andy and Lisa to Thailand. Neither Steve or I had been to Asia before, so we were incredibly thankful for friends who are both familiar with the culture and great travel companions! We took so many pictures and have memories that will last a lifetime. PART I: Chiang Mai. And stole wine from the beverage cart which, as a nervous flyer, made me all the more uneasy. But we survived and the anticipation kept us sane. We were all...

The Darrs: Thailand: Part III
http://steveandsarahdarr.blogspot.com/2011/03/thailand-part-iii.html
Wednesday, March 16. The last leg of our trip we went to the Koh Phi Phi island and Railay Bay. As the saying goes, the pictures are worth a 1,000 words. We lounged on the beaches,. Hiked up to the viewpoint on the brutally steep path (thankfully it was worth it in the end),. Watched the sunset every evening,. Found a tiny newborn kitty on the road (& couldn't resist picking up),. Went to see 'The Beach' from Leonardo DiCaprio's movie,. Stopped at Monkey Beach and gave them a few snacks,. 3/16/11, 4:49 PM.

Sunday, October 17. It has been an absoutely beautiful autumn in the Midwest, the best that I can remember- mild temperatures, brilliant colors and lots of sunshine! We have been trying to soak it up while it lasts. Last weekend we went up to the cabin to close it down for the winter. It was the perfect combination of work and relaxation. Sitting on the dock taking in the view.. Lacey, our faithful sidekick, waiting for us to play with her. My Dad chopped down some trees. Steve split the wood. It seems ...
