The next room was the "halloween room" complete with all kinds of cool treats like bat wings (chicken wings), mummies (pigs in a blanket), and meatball mice (guess momma never taught her not to play with her food)! Thursday, November 13, 2008. How sweet it is. To be loved by Doug! Ok, so I'm being a little silly and mushy, but my husband is so very sweet. Last night, knowing how down I've been the last couple of weeks, he picked me up from work and took me to a very romantic Italian restaurant. Then when we sat down, he presented me with a red rose and a card that said it all. It made me cry (happy tears for a change! He even gave up a day of golf to take me out! Thursday, January 1, 2009. Well, it's that time of year that we make lots of resolutions, and then later in the year we break them all! I don't make any so I don't have to worry about breaking them! I'm looking forward to what the new year will bring and I'm very thankful for my family and all that I have been blessed with. Can you believe it's 2010 already? It seems like time is flying by so fast. I'm not even going to try to fill you in on all the happenings of the last several months.
